AW 2018/19 - WOURA Collection
Woura Collection is inspired by the actual women empowerement mouvement. The word 'Woura' is a fusion between « Woman » and « Hera ». The goddess Hera was Zeus’ sister and wife, as the incarnation of woman, and her protector.
Entirely made in Morocco, their embroideries and graphical shapes refer to the well-known Muslim pattern « Mamluk Koran ».
SS 2018 - WALIDIN Collection
Just moved to Morocco (Africa), it became obvious for the designer to produce a bags collection in the Leather tanneries land. It pushed the inspirations to move into her own origins. This mini-collection is named "Walidin", that means "parents" in Darija, moroccan dialect. The two products, declined in 2 versions each, are 70-80's inspiration, dedicated to importants women of the designer's life.
SS 2017 - VANC90 Collection
"VANC90" is a travel through Africa back in the 90's. This summer collection plays with pop colours and front buttoned dresses and skirts. The prints refers to the diferents african symbols you find in Africa, from the North to the Center. Still playing with contrasting fabrics coming from diferents parts of the continent, this collection invites the wearer to travel in lightness.
SS 2016 - TERRANGA Collection
This summer collection is the first women's collection made back in Africa, after more than 15 years in France. "Terranga" means "Land of Welcome" in Senegalese Wolof language. This collection is a crossing between occidental fabrics and cuts, with traditional african fabrics and prints.
AW 2015/16 - 'Back to Africa' Collection
Created exclusively for the online french designers plateform mondefile.com, this 'Back to Africa' collection was a clear contrast between graphical winter coats and dresses with bags, entirely made in Gabon. The association of raphia, lamb leather and african wax brings to this winter collection the warming we all need.
AW 2014/15 - MOIKA Collection
MOIKA Collection is the first women's collection produced by Otinguema. This first collection was a collaboration between the deisgner Jessica and one of her bestfriend Morgane Borye, première main. Based on the desire to express their know how in Couture, MOIKA, which is a fusion between their first names, is a presentation of how cultural symbols can mix with Couture.
